AdviceGames is a Dutch-based firm with offices in London and San Francisco, founded in 2013 with a focus on gamification of financial advice and services to help financial services activate consumers. At its core, the firm is building the world’s first financial artificial intelligence platform, combining consumer data, scientific research, and social, location and transaction data. The platform is the engine behind the companies artificial financial games and gamification. This will enable financial services firms in Europe to activate their customers in sustainable financial behaviour.
Consumers don’t like their personal finance and are not really engaged in it. Nevertheless they know it’s important. Based on the idea that personal finance often experiences low involvement and thus low activation, the firm develops deep (predictive) models on consumer activation, through it’s own academic research with leading universities in Europe, The United states and Asia and adapts them in applied financial games, gamified customer interaction and customer activity dashboarding.
The solution AdviceGames implements these models in its Advice-Games-As-A-Serious_Service-Platform (AGAASS), a data-driven, modular, and service-oriented architecture solution based on open-source methodology. The platform offers services as applied scenario games, data-driven gamification, activity dialoging and customer engagement dashboards. The services are offered according to the SaaS-model. AGAASS arrived in the market in Europe in 2014 and is targeted at retail banks, insurance companies, private banks, IFA’s and credit management organisations.
AdviceGames innovation is in applying machine learning onto its platform to support it’s users with better predictive services. It’s academic foundation, international network, artificial intelligence and applied gaming competences and it’s scalable platform provide the company a unique position into the hotspot in consumer finance: digital consumer activation.
